Being a teacher allows me to combine my passion for community work with my belief in making a positive impact on the world.

One of my favorite parts of my job is facilitating professional development workshops both virtually and in person all over the country.

It has been so amazing to be supported by the staff and other participants.

I could have never imagined that I would be on the path to a rabbinical career, but thanks to brave Queer folks and allies who have fought before me to expand the imaginations of the fearful, here I am, and a big part of my mission in this life is to hold the door open for the next Queer person that is going to come after me, in the same way that a door was built and held open for me.

I find great inspiration and optimism for the future of the Jewish community as I watch these young individuals evolve into compassionate and empathetic members of society.

It was the first of many opportunities to build community through learning, and I was hooked.

As an educator, I love providing the classroom environment to wander and wonder.

I can not help but feel pride in seeing the next generation of parents knowing I had a hand in setting the foundation.
